About Choco Papa's Health Note

My name is Choco Papa. I'm 59 years old, based in South Korea.

I spent my twenties as a professional baseball player in the KBO (Korea Baseball Organization). After retiring from the sport, I joined one of South Korea's largest conglomerates and worked my way up to executive level over 30 years.

Two careers. Two different ways of destroying my body.

The baseball years gave me degenerative arthritis, chronic joint pain, and a spine that reminds me daily of every dive I made for a ground ball. The corporate years added fatty liver, pre-diabetic blood sugar, elevated blood pressure, and 20 extra kilograms from 5,000 nights of mandatory company dinners.

Today, I run a health supplement wholesale and retail business in South Korea. I research, evaluate, and sell health supplements — not as a marketing exercise, but as someone who personally needs them to function.

This blog is my honest health notebook. No medical degree. No PhD. No sponsored content. Just a man who sold his health for decades and is now spending every day trying to buy it back.

What you'll find here:

Honest supplement reviews based on clinical research and personal experience. Joint health, liver health, and cardiovascular guidance for men over 50. Home exercise routines designed to protect aging bodies, not destroy them. Korean health culture — from bone broth to sauna therapy — explained honestly. Mental health and identity after retirement.

My only rule: I don't write what I don't believe, and I don't recommend what I don't trust.

If you're a man over 50 who feels like his body is cashing checks he wrote twenty years ago, you're in the right place.

Welcome to the late innings. Let's play them smart.
